International Logistics & Export Internship

We are seeking a part-time student to join our export sales team in Copenhagen and Svinninge.

We are looking for a talented International Business or Logistics student to support our Sales Department on several fronts.

As an International Logistics & Export student, you will be managing outgoing shipment workflow for internationally based wholesalers, placing orders, completing compliance work, and export paperwork. Opportunities with sales inside our smaller international markets also may be incorporated into the position; under the supervision of our Export Manager.

Who is To Øl?

To Øl is a young Danish craft brewery founded in 2010. We are striving to deliver the highest quality beer and get it into the hands of people in the most sustainable way. In 2019, we acquired the old Beauvais factory in Svinninge, where we established a modern brewery. We brew a wide range of different beers, and our commitment to quality and innovation has enabled us to export our products to more than 31 countries.

Our team consists of over 50 dedicated people with different skills from 23 countries. We have different backgrounds, life stories and areas of expertise — and we love this diversity because we believe it makes our work and products better.

What does this role involve?

We are searching for an International Business or Logistics student to support our export department. Export sales accounts for a large portion of our business, and offers an opportunity to bring quality beer and message to many spots on the globe. NOTE: This Job requires a Danish Work Permit or Student Visa that grants you the right to work in Denmark.

Your responsibilities

  • Managing order workflow from inception to warehouse readiness

  • Completing invoicing and export paperwork in a timely fashion

  • Communicating with external logistics companies and the internal warehouse

  • Sales responsibilities for smaller markets are also potentially included.

The position will be considered for both applicants in Copenhagen and/or Svinninge and requires 15-20 hours per week, depending on your availability. 

You will work alongside and report directly to our Export Manager, Jonathan Henderson.

Your qualifications

  • You have completed, or are in the final year of, your bachelors degree with a focus on Logistics or International Business. Masters students are also encouraged to apply.

  • General understanding of sales tactics, international compliance & logistics, as well as strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets.

  • Excellence in task management and task completion, as successful workflow management, communication, and product readiness are critical in running the business.

  • Familiarity with Google Workspace and Slack. Additionally, familiarity with SAP is a strong plus but not required.

  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.

  • Professional fluency in English.
