Brewer
We are seeking a talented brewer for our production team who brews and packages the highest-quality beers. You'll help run our brewhouse, cellar work, and dry hopping. You will follow the product through packaging to bottles/cans/kegs from a quality point of view.
To Øl is a young Danish craft brewery founded in 2010. We are striving to deliver the highest quality beer and get it into the hands of people in the most sustainable way. In 2019, we acquired the old Beauvais factory in Svinninge, where we established a modern brewery. We brew a wide range of different beers, and our commitment to quality and innovation has enabled us to export our products to more than 31 countries.
Our team consists of over 70 dedicated people with different skills from various countries. We have different backgrounds, life stories and areas of expertise — and we love this diversity because we believe it makes our work and products better.
We offer a full-time job on four 10-hour shifts between 7-20 (Monday to Friday), according to the Danish collective agreement (Industry Agreement). All weekends and nights are off. It's a job with a high degree of independence and influence. Your daily tasks include but are not restricted to:
Active Cellar work, including mainly dry hopping but also other Cold side Additions on a regular basis, yeast management and QA brewing tasks
Transferring Beer from the cellar to the bright tank with centrifugation and carbonation
Brewhouse work on a 5-vessel automated Braukon brewhouse (knowledge of BrewMaxx/Proleit a plus).
Assist in continuous improvement, development, and implementation.
Developing recipes within the team
Following all safety measures and procedures.
Shifts will rotate on a 4 day basis (10 hours) - Monday to Friday and in between the hours of 07:00 to 20:00.
Participation in the sensory panel.
You will report directly to our Brewing Manager, Mathis Seliger.
Are working in a team of passionate brewers who work independently and are structured, responsible, flexible and solution-oriented.
Have excellent attention to detail and a relentless pursuit of brewing incredible beer.
Possess the ability to work autonomously in a diverse environment.
You have at least 1 years of experience in a similar position, working with production equipment, preferably in the brewing industry
Great communication skills and fluency in English. All business is conducted in brewing in English.
Forklift License is a plus
Standing for long periods.
Ability to work in hot, cold, and noisy environments (protective gear is provided).
Routine pushing, pulling, climbing, lifting, grasping, reaching, etc.
Ability to move heavy materials with support
